In his annual post, Chris Brogan shares his 3 Words for 2016. These three words help to define your new year. They replace your new years
resolutions with something a bit more tangible. I've been thinking for the past 3 weeks what my 3 words would be. I took a deep dive into who I am and who I need to be in order to accomplish my goals. This year promises to be a busy year, much busier than last year (and 2015 was busy!).
So, what are my 3 words for 2016? I'm so glad you asked!
I've been talking and writing about social business a lot lately and in 2016 it's my goal to become an authority on the topic. That means I'll be more consistent with blogging and will restart my podcast. I have a lot more planned, but that's for another post.
I haven't always been the healthiest person but am ready to change that. My family and I are switching to a whole foods diet, with a focus on eating more fruits and vegetables. We're buying a new home this year and are looking for a few acres so that we have plenty of room to grow our own.
In fact, I created another blog so that you can follow me on my journey.
This is an important section for me and has three words of its own that will help me to focus on the important aspects of my own personal growth. They are growth in:
- My faith
- My family, and
- My knowledge
So, what are your 3 Words?
Keeping My 3 Words in Plain Site
Like with anything like this, it's important to keep your 3 words in plain site. My idea is to design a poster that I will hang in my office, and refer to it often. I will also write them on a piece of paper and put them in my wallet, again, referring to them often.
What are some idea that you have to keep your 3 words in front of you?
