Today, I am okay with not being enough because today I’m okay with being a work in progress. I will no longer look at myself and make an excuse for the things I lack or could be better at because it’s during these times of self-reflection that give me insight into who I need to be to reach my dreams. Today, I am more because I continually strive to be a better me.
Today, I set a new standard for myself. Today, I decide to be comfortable with looking inward so that I can make the changes necessary to affect the outward. Today, I’m okay with not being the person who is capable of accomplishing my goals because I know that I can become that person with effort and intention. Much like the forging of steel makes iron stronger so shall I become more because I apply heat and pressure to myself to do so. Today, I am more because I continually strive to be a better me.
Today, I will focus on who I need to be and subtract from it who I am now. The difference is the product that I need to produce. The difference being who I am and what I can become. The difference is the journey I must undertake to reach my goals and live my dreams. Today, I am more because I continually strive to be a better me.
Today, I will make progress. Today, I’ll be just 1% better than I was yesterday. Tomorrow I’ll do the same, and in only 100 days I’ll be twice the person I am today. Today, I’ll be comfortable knowing that I require work. Today, I’ll stop looking at other people, comparing what I lack with what they have for my only competition is me from yesterday. Today, I’ll be superior to my past self. I’ll build towards a future where my dreams are met because I closed the gap between the current and future me. Today, I am more because I continually strive to be a better me.
