Think. Spend time reflecting on past decisions, future goals, and your present circumstances. Life moves swiftly and will push you along if you don’t plant your feet, slow it down, and pay attention.

Have you ever taken a look at your life and wondered how you got to where you’re at? Or at a particular situation you find yourself in? It doesn’t matter if you’re in a good place or a bad one, you should reflect on all the decisions you’ve made up until that point.

Why? Simple. It gives you insight into what you’ve done so that you can better direct what you will do.

Your life is comprised of moments. These moments, when taken together, make up who you are and what your current situation is. While you can’t define your life based off of one or two bad moments, a lifetime of them will eat at you, depress you, and make you ask, “why me?”

That’s why it’s important to slow it down. Reflect on why you’ve made the choices you’ve made so that you can either keep making them or stop them all together.

Think. Reflect. Change your current circumstances or reinforce them. Either way, it all starts with asking yourself why.
